This is an add-on for our Multi-Vendor Marketplace app.

It plugs straight into the marketplace: an “Ask the seller” button appears on product and store pages, a “Messages” tab is added to the seller dashboard, and buyers get an inbox in their portal. You must install Multi-Vendor Marketplace first.

A note on pricing. This is a $39 add-on. Because it needs the Multi-Vendor Marketplace base app to run, Odoo Apps shows a combined price on this page — that is this $39 add-on plus the base app, bundled together. If you already own Multi-Vendor Marketplace, you pay only the $39 add-on price at checkout — Odoo will not charge you for the base app again.

Phone numbers, e-mail addresses and links are automatically masked in messages, so buyers and sellers keep their deals on your marketplace. One admin toggle.

Attachments & canned replies

Buyers and sellers can attach images or files (e.g. a photo of a defect). Vendors save quick replies and insert them in one click for fast, consistent answers.

E-mail alerts on every reply

The other party is notified by e-mail whenever a new message arrives, so conversations keep moving even when someone isn’t logged in.

Admin moderation desk

A full backend view of every conversation and message, with filters and a “Reported” queue. Either side can report abuse; admins can close or block a thread.

Block, report & auto-close

Freeze abusive threads, flag them for the admin, and let stale conversations close themselves after a configurable number of days.

Product & order context

Each conversation can be tied to the exact product or order it’s about, so both sides always know what’s being discussed.
